Within my salon, SWOT Analysis' are one of the many easy tools that I have used, and loved, for years. Conducting SWOT Analyses’ with my team members are incredibly useful, especially for quick and effective performance reviews. There's no need for extensive planning - making it an easy and seamless process. And sometimes it’s just nice to switch it up to keep my team engaged. And it makes you feel a bit smart knowing how to do one, Ha!
So, what is a SWOT Analysis?
SWOT stands for: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. Identifying your teams strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, can get both you and your team valuable insights into their performance and areas for improvement. It encourages team members to think constructively about their own goals and actions, fostering a sense of ownership over their choices.
Moreover, these analyses provide a platform for understanding team members better and determining how best to support them. It's a collaborative effort that strengthens bonds within the team while driving collective growth and success.
